Pen and paper Work Cards are finally a thing of the past for both our maintenance workshops and our mobile services as all relevant employees have been given a new tablet. The cards are pre-filled digitally and assigned to each mechanic which then in turn adds the relative work done before pushing the card back for a final review and invoicing. By digitalizing this key workflow we aim to reduce human errors and speed up internal processes.

Stef Petrusson, one of our workshop managers, organizes internal trainings every third Saturday of the month. Last month in Zeebrugge, this month in Ghent and next month in Antwerp. Employees can participate both physically and online where they learn how to enter data, scan barcodes and save photos via these tablets. After these two sessions, 50 employees studied further and received tips on how to fully use their tablet in the workplace. Practical training and follow-up are decisive for further digitization at ICTS.
