In the spotlight

On Sunday May 7th, ICTS will open its doors for the Flemish Port Day.

To fully immerse visitors in the story of the Flemish Port Day, life-size cardboard cutouts portraying diverse people will be placed at various junctions and along all cycling and walking routes.

The cutouts depict people who actually work at the port, with a specific focus on bottleneck professions and diversity. For this, ICTS chose trailer mechanic Trui Bong Dung, also known as ‘Bolleke’, as the face of the campaign. A photographer already stopped by to take some pictures for the cardboard cutouts and filmed Bolleke as he went about his daily activities in the workshop.

Visitors can use their mobile phones to scan the QR code on the cutouts, which will open up an innovative virtual world.
