Formula Student Team Delft

Formula Student Team Delft is a team consisting of 90 excelling and motivated students from the Delft University of Technology.

Their mission: design and build a small-scale formula-style racing car and prepare for the International Formula Student competitions. In this competition, no less than 800 teams from all over the world compete to be the best.

Their adrenaline-fueled adventure kicked off with a race at the TT Circuit in Assen, the Netherlands, where they began with a commendable 7th place. After working day and night for two weeks straight, they were ready for a second race in Hungary, setting a new world record in the acceleration category.  Now, all eyes are set on Germany, where they’re gearing up for an exhilarating final showdown.

Joris Lans, CEO of Formula Student Team Delft on the journey: “To facilitate our travels, we utilize an ICTS trailer with DAF truck. This powerhouse combo lets us set up a mobile workshop at the events, enabling us to help out other teams. Thanks to the ICTS trailer we have been able to assist half of all the teams out there.”
